Learn how to make your own photobooks and zines in this hands-on workshop with artists Kim Mumm Hansen and Ashley Ronning. Workshop participants will be given access to a range of construction materials and tools on the day, and learn the essential skills to make their own self-published works.

Through exhibitions, education and publishing, Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) places contemporary Australian photography and video in conversation with significant historical and international practice, expanding the context for current Australian lens-based arts.

Ashley Ronning Facilitator

Ashley Ronning is a Naarm-based illustrator, risograph printer and DIY publisher. She has been embedded in the local zine community for over 12 years – attending zine fairs and launching her zines into the world. Ashley also runs Helio Press, an experimental DIY risograph printing and publishing project.

Kim Mumm Hansen Facilitator

Kim Mumm Hansen is a Danish graphic designer, living and working in Melbourne, Australia. Kim has worked locally for five years, in a collaborative realm, mostly within and around the arts; artists, galleries and educational institutions. This results predominantly in the production of publications, posters, websites and visual identities.
