Join artist and author Tai Snaith for a look into how and why she created the beautifully hand crafted animals in her most recent title Wonders Under the Sun, published by Thames and Hudson in late 2022. Interviewed live by Charly Thorn, Tai will share some a refreshing insights into how restless creative hands can help make positive change.

Tai Snaith Speaker

Artist and author Tai Snaith lives and works on unceded Wurundjeri land. Her multi-disciplinary practice celebrates the intersection of stories, collections, people and place. She also has a life-long interest in animals and passion for the protection of animal habitats.Tai has written and illustrated 6 books published by Thames and Hudson, with her first title now re-released as a classic anniversary edition. Tai has artwork held in both private and public collections including Artbank, City of Banyule, NGA, Bayside and State Library of Victoria as well as recently commissioned major works for The Great Victorian Rail Trail and Andaz Prague.
