First Works is a new series of architecture books produced by independent publisher Post-. The series attempts to package and present the making of early built work of young and emerging architects. It is an opportunity for a young generation of architects to publish, and as a guide of sorts for the generation below them who are yet to complete their own first work.
In this event for the inaugural First Works publication, join Guillermo Fernandez-Abascal and Post- editor of featured practice GFA2 in a discussion about the constraints of conventional architectural publishing, the motivations and ambitions for the First Works series, and the challenges of publishing (and being published) as an emerging architectural practitioner in Australia and internationally.
